Delhi LTC residents hosted an Alzheimer's Society Coffee Break this afternoon :) Thank you to all of the staff who have supported! All proceeds are going to the Alzheimer's society of Haldimand Norfolk #heartfeltmoments

Hilltop was pleasantly surprised with a visit from Mickey Mouse on his birthday!

Golden Years residents having a fun afternoon with our "Little taste of Mexico" event. Mexican treats & music made the rounds for everyone to enjoy. Both residents and staff got into the fun!

It's always a proud moment when our communities are featured in the OARC Newsletter! Residents and staff at Delhi LTC want to wish Sarah, a local 12 year old, fighting cancer for the 5th time, a happy birthday. We are all thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way! Thanks to PSW Kaitlyn Priem for helping us make her birthday extra special.

Edna Place at AR Goudie had a Men's Breakfast Club this morning as the men wanted to catch up together & follow the US election results. They enjoyed bacon, sausage, eggs, cinnamon rolls, hash browns, toasts, etc. Thanks to the Dietary Team for putting together such a nice spread!

AR Goudie residents had quite the busy National Dessert Day on October 14th as they made homemade cupcakes & sweet bread! Everyone enjoyed the tasty treats and residents are looking forward to doing more baking.

AR Goudie residents enjoyed Thanksgiving activities; reflecting on what they were thankful for through a 'turkey tree' craft! The harvest decorations were also a huge hit for all.

Thank you to these two wonderful ladies for coming and pulling out all of the brush and cleaning out the flower bed in front of Delhi LTC! We appreciate all your help and dedication :) #heartfeltmoments

It's that time of year again! Unfortunately we will not be able to hold our Christmas Bazaar at Delhi LTC this year, but we are still going to do our annual Christmas Raffle. Delhi LTC resident council and the Ladies Auxiliary are hosting this fundraiser and all funds raised will be split between the groups. See poster below for more information! Money to purchase tickets can be arranged for drop off at the home :)

Happy Oktoberfest! AR Goudie residents celebrated Oktoberfest throughout the home today. Residents enjoyed pretzels with beer and some virtual Oktoberfest bands as well! Thank you to all our great Goudie staff who made it extra special. Prost!

Shout out to Chantel (Recreationist), Crystal (PSW) and the Residents on Evergreen Drive in Tavistock for planting and caring for the most beautiful sunflowers this year! They have harvested the seeds, packaged them and given them out to staff to plant their own sunflowers at home!! Such great teamwork!! #heartfeltmoments

AR Goudie residents & team members got in the spirit over the weekend to celebrate Halloween. There were some great costumes, face-painting, decorations and trick-or-treats!

It was quite the busy weekend at AR Goudie! We celebrated a 90th birthday. We enjoyed National Cinnamon Roll Day. And we started some fall art therapy which the residents are able to decorate their rooms with.

What a busy day in Tavi today! Its Golden Arches Day! A few residents ordered in some take out from McDonald's and this afternoon we bundled up and enjoyed some Outdoor Entertainment from Brent Meidinger!! Happy Monday!
