Concern for seniors. I have a short window of time to send supports to our Canadian "boots on the ground" in Guaymas Mexico. My friend and I try to support a grass roots charity home that cares for for seniors, many of them wounded, who have no family to look after them and would otherwise live on the streets.Their only source of income is from local food donations and through 2 annual public fund-raiser in Mexico that they are not able to facilitate this year. EVERY $2,$5,$...10 or $20 added together can go a long way in Mexico. If the crafting workshops I am holding are not your thing perhaps you would be willing to trust us with your donation. Because my friend is Canadian I can email the money raised directly to him and therefore not loose collection fees from a facebook fundraising campaign. I have included photos of both myself and my friend Frank on location at the seniors shelter delivering donated items and funds raised in the past. They are in dyer straights....and Frank can see to it that they get 100% of our group donations before he returns to Canad May 15th. You may also access a 9 min video I made about the two charities we support in Mexico. The seniors shelter, El Cobijo, is the second featured in the video here on my charities page where you can also read more about them . https://www.peoplepowerparties.com/charities or direct from Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch Muchas Gracias!! Love and blessings! Wooh Wooh!! Stay tuned for photos of delivery to El Cobijo, shelter for seniors. May 8, 2020 Frank, Theo and Marion went chopping for El Cobijo today. They also chipped in which made the total donation of of 15,403.10 pesos. 50% used to purchase food, grooming and household goods 50% cash donation. Astrid (who volunteers to translate and was not there today) will share an update of how the other 50% will be utilized (please stay tuned.). Photos added below. No pics of the seniors because they are tucked away for best risk management concerning covid 19. Wooh wooh, great job everyone! I hope your hearts are warmed with this news. May 12, 2020 El Cobijo sends their gratitude and appreciation for the donations. Astrid has translated the video with script for us. BIG love everyone!

Last Chance for this FREE online Workshop. Materials and info below. Let’s gather on ZOOM, brighten up our spaces, and usher in the season of spring. I love working with canvas and finding new and interesting ways to use them.other than paint. These hand- crafted lights add ambiance to a space. They are battery operated, have a built in stand or can be hung anywhere. Super satisfying to make and people will ask where you got it. Even non- crafters are surprised what they co...me up with. Ages 14+ Materials and equipment: ALL can be found at DOLLARAMA Canvas 8 x 10 X (1 ) choose the canvas with the wide sides so it can stand on it’s own and accommodate the backing. Dollarama carries these. 1 set of battery-operated lights. 10 warm bulbs. You can use ferry lights too but they usually come in twenty or more. It’s also possible to use the lights for wine bottles but again please choose warm lights, the white lights are far too bright. A glue gun and glue sticks. Scissors Pencil Ruler (but measurements can be estimated) A small screw, or metal skewer A place-mat or something to protect your craft surface. Optional- 8 x 10 piece of fabric for the backing. Can be added later or omitted. Batteries for your lights. 2 hours of your time EMAIL me [email protected] for your ZOOM invitation Option to participate anonymously in a fundraiser for El Cobijo Shelter for seniors after the party.
