These pictures were sent in from a family that receive a Healthy Hamper from The People’s Pantry Their entire dinner was made with rescued food. Steak sandwiches (inside round steak) on Rosemary Olive Oil Bread (Terra Bread) and Shoestring Potato French Fries. The steak was mixed with sliced mushroom and sliced onions, beef broth and Aji mild marinate. The mayo spread was mixed with garlic and fresh herbs.

This was this past Sunday. This is just a small glimpse of the food that was rescued from the landfill!

Putting a call out for egg cartons!! If anyone has any egg cartons they are considering disposing off but would prefer they go to good use, consider donating your egg cartons to The People’s Pantry Food Recovery Society. It doesn’t matter what style or size. All egg cartons are welcomed and appreciated.

So excited to be preparing nutritious hampers to help fill tummies! It’s so heart warming to be pouring into the community in such a practical way!

A full four months since our beginnings, we have accomplished a lot to be proud of and are starting to be positioned for greater things (lots of things in the works). This can only be possible by parntering and connecting wth people and organizations withn our community.
