In January we received a group of postcards for kids to draw a picture of their favorite way to read books, and an area to tell the story as a literacy month contest. 6 of the children at Perdue daycare drew a picture and they were sent Off. Today I received 6 copies of Never Rub Noses with a Narwhal, one for each of the children. Enjoy the book kids and keep reading.

January has arrived and the Library is open Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursdays 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. come in or call the library to get something to read on the dark winter nights. Wheatland Regional Library has just announced they are doing away with overdue fees. You will no longer be charged for overdue items but they must be returned still or you will still be charged for lost items, for more information please contact me

From the staff and the board of Perdue Library we wish all our patrons and everyone else a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. the library is open today until 3:00 p.m. and then we are closed until January 5th. Stay safe and enjoy as much as you can

Perdue Library will be closed December 24th, 29th, and 31st for Christmas the library will reopen January 5th 2021. Happy Holidays everyone.
