Well, that’s a wrap. Birds have all been processed for the season. No more mental stress about foxes, raccoons, and gale force winds. Adios to chores, pasture patrol, and chicken shitty boots. Giant shout out and deep hearted gratitude to my lovely children, who helped load birds every night before processing days, assisted with chores when asked, and attended markets and deliveries when I was unable. Honourable mention to my beautiful wife @fiveofheartsstudio who tolerat...es my farming obsession and keeps a plate out for me whenever I’m home. Couldn’t do it without them. Thank you @coolspringsranch for processing my poultry the last few years. (My family is also very grateful!) It’s been many years since our humble beginnings with Heifer International and Farmland Legacies. Finally, I’d like to pay respect to all those birds who gave their lives for you and me to enjoy, hopefully surrounded by loved ones at the table. Respect. I will continue to do home deliveries into Saskatoon and Regina, attend the Regina Farmers Market, and the Wynyard Farmers Market while supplies last. I also have chicken at Odla Market, The Pig and Pantry, and Naturally Amped Fermentery. Product is going quickly though, so get in touch if you’d like to be serviced through the fall and winter seasons.
