Canada and Italy have expanded their already existing youth mobility agreement, which will allow more people to go on longer working holidays between the two countries. Italians and Canadians between ages 18 and 35 will now be able to work and travel in each other’s countries for up to two 12 month periods. Italian citizens can participate in two of the Working Holiday, Young Professional, or International Co-op programs and will be able to live in each other’s country for a total of up to 24 months.

There was not an Express Entry draw on October 28, which could be linked to recent changes by the IRCC increasing the CRS points scoring for French-speaking applicants. BC PNP Candidates: In response to updates to the Employment Standards Act, the BC PNP has increased the layoff time allowed to 24 weeks, or August 30, whichever comes first. Instead of a maximum of 16 weeks as before, you can put your application on hold or be off work for up to 6 months instead of 4 months without having to withdraw your application or registration.... IEC visa holders can now come to Canada Effective May 8, 2020, applicants in the Working Holiday, Young Professional or International Co-op categories can come to Canada only if they have a valid job offer and a port of entry letter of introduction.
