Remembering this fun wedding on board the Showboat, one of the @mariposacruises boats. We had 10 weeks to pull off this wedding from start to finish. It was such a beautiful day from our lovely cruise with the ceremony first... and then lunch to photos in the Music Gardens afterwards. Boat weddings rock! @avephoto

This is what this lovely couple had to say about us. Katie & Evan - Nov 2019 "I wasn’t sure I needed a wedding planner but boy was I wrong!!! Between work, life and the wedding I was getting so stressed out and needed day of planning to ensure everything was set up and vendors showed up ensuring our contracts were fulfilled. That’s where Vicky and her team came in! Vicky was there every step of the way from details appointments, meetings with vendors, going over our contra...cts (she found some contracts that didn’t include everything as discussed for the day and was able to have it altered thank goodness)! We had a late night McDonald’s bar where I was wondering who would go pick it up, Vicky and team handled everything even the set up! Her advice on timelines was great and she did an excellent job on the day of setting up all of our decor and gifts , ensuring we relaxed and enjoyed the day. Everything looked beautiful and she even ensured all of our items, wine, cake etc were packed up and she brought them home and let us pick them up a few days later as the venue we were at would charge us each hour we left our items behind... My husband and I were able to enjoy our day! My husband didn’t think we needed a wedding planner until he saw what Vicky and her team were doing and he actually told me that out of everything we paid for the wedding, Vicky was the best investment and very affordable!! I would definitely recommend Perfect Planners to all my friends and family. Trust me, you want to enjoy your wedding day and not stress about the issues that may happen.. You can’t rely on your family to assist the day of as they are going to be in photos with you and getting ready!!! Plus you want someone who knows weddings well and VERY organized.. This is the story of my wedding. This is me on our wedding day. I always wanted a traditional wedding, and what I had was completely different! Neil and I got engaged on August 24th 2007. It was our 1st anniversary of being together on August 25th, but Neil had a bachelor party to go too! We decided to wait to book anything because we were saving to come to Canada and we wanted to do both. Fast forward one year. On Thursday August 21st 2008, my colleague at the bank where ...I was working was killed in a car accident. She was only 28. Our application for permanent residency in Canada was already being processed, and we had booked a trip from October 15th-25th to come and see Toronto because Neil had never been. That weekend was our 2nd anniversary of being together and our 1st anniversary of our engagement. We went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary, but something wasn’t right. Neil had lost his dad in March and it had been tough, I was getting really stressed out with family issues. We had quite a talk about life and the wedding and I said, what are we waiting for? Life is just too short! Why don’t we go away and get married? Or why don’t we get married whilst we’re in Canada! When we got home, we asked Neil’s mom if we did get married whilst we were on vacation, would she come out for the wedding. She agreed, in shock, but she agreed. The next day, we asked my mom if we got married whilst we were away, would she join us. She was first silent (my mom is NEVER lost for words lol), then she laughed and said Sure! Six and half weeks later, we were married at the Fallsview Marriott Hotel, Niagara Falls. As you can see I wore red, white is not a good colour for me. We had dinner in the restaurant, then got changed and went to the Casino and gambled. Was it the wedding of my dreams? No, but it was perfect for us in that time of our lives, with what had happened that year. And this is why I do what I do. I help couples with their dream wedding, whatever it may look like! One of our couples from this year, had the cutest personalized cake topper. The groom has a cupcake tattoo on his hand, and the bride has a monkey.
