Our last fundraiser at the Farmer’s Market was this Saturday and we made a total of $493 as well as 10+ boxes full of period products !!!! I cannot thank everybody who donated and volunteered enough, you are all the backbone of this movement and it would not exist without every single one of you. We had a lot of fun educating everybody about what menstruation means to different people and we hope to use the money and period products that got donated to us to create accessibility and make it easier for people who cannot afford pads and tampons. Stay tuned for the official date for the Packing Party, where we will pack bags filled with menstrual hygiene products, and our first meeting of the new school year!!! The Period Poverty Summit was an amazing event we attended today! We learned so much and I hope to use what we learned at PERIOD!!! Times are changing :)
