Pressure Mapping is one of the tests applied to characterize a cushion. One of the main goals with wheelchair cushion is to provide pressure redistribution. Pressure Mapping uses a mat with sensors to reveal areas of intense pressure when someone is seated or lying down. The mat can also show how best to achieve pressure relief. They’re all just blankets I use to cover up the true emotions. Maybe it’s just me, but on most days I am truly fearful of what my body may become. Especially in regards to allergies as I continue to develop new food allergies, more severe reactions, and even more medication allergies. If you are afraid of your body because of what it has done to you, you are not alone. We are all struggling to accept some aspect of ourselves.
