As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, it usually means its time to get the Pirate ship ready to sail. - However, Our food truck is event oriented and most of the events we participate in every year have been cancelled or postponed. The only other option we have would be to get a license to operate the streets of Saskatoon, which doesnt seem right due to the current situation. We have decided to not operate the Pirate ship this year and focus on new menu i...tems and creating a unique food experience at @hkbrewco. Hey guys, as you know weve closed the kitchen temporarily and have been spending some time figuring out our next steps. We got bored yesterday and created an Apple Music playlist for everyone stuck at home or self isolating! - Search @perogiepirates on Apple Music for an entire playlist of some jams filled with new and old music. Hopefully it brings some joy to your day. It features some local artists like @its_jjwhite, @iamalexbent, @denisevalle_, @sextrapmusic, and @samuraichamps plus a bunch of oldies and music weve just been vibing too!

Well, here we are folks. During uncertain and difficult times, we have made the decision to suspend our operations at @hkbrewco this week. - Perogie Pirates is manned by myself, Joel, with the help of a few others during catering gigs or Pirate Thursdays. Putting others at risk, and myself, is just simply not worth it in the long term as we figure out more and more about this virus everyday. Please do your part by washing your hands, practicing social distancing, etc. With that said, we will be carefully monitoring this situation and will (hopefully) open up our Skip The Dishes and phones temporarily this weekend to offer takeout if you so please! - Thank for your understanding.

A new era is set to begin at @hkbrewco - While Perogie Pirates has been a massive success in the taproom, we have been quietly developing a menu to offer a wider range of food. This concept is Sailor Js Cafe. The food truck will remain Perogie Pirates and we will still be doing perogies at the taproom, but come the Summer we will be offering an expanded menu featuring more food options like sandwiches, deep fried yummies, and more! This logo was designed by our friend @designedbycraig and we have more exciting news to come! - Stay tuned for updates! The Summer is going to be TASTY.
