Dear Liberals: On March 23, 2020, the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador Executive Board voted to suspend the 2020 AGM & Convention, previously scheduled for May 8 - 9, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Notice is hereby given that the 2020 AGM & Convention shall take place on Monday, August 3, 2020 beginning at 3:15pm. The AGM & Convention will be "virtual" due to concerns surrounding mass gatherings. However, o...rganizers are taking all necessary steps to ensure participants are fully engaged and able to conduct Party business, to recognize outgoing Liberal Leader and Premier Dwight Ball, and celebrate the selection of the new Liberal Leader and Premier-Designate of Newfoundland and Labrador. Hello Friends-I wanted to send you my thoughts on the Leadership Campaign. You may have noticed that I have not made any public endorsement? I believe it is best to wait until the nominations close Friday, then meet with the District Association Executive and others this weekend. I have attended both candidate launches in St John’s and look forward to your input as to whom we should support as our next leader and therefore Premier of our Province. Regards
