Using our bulls as weed control around the farm store and garden this summer.

One step closer to grazing a multi species mob of livestock. Today we moved the sheep up next to the cattle. Tomorrow we will move everyone in together. Grazing cows, sheep and chickens all at once. The synergies between the three are wonderful!

The calves were all fast asleep this morning, so peacefully under a shade tree, we almost didn't want to wake them up. However today was the day to move them from their now dusty winter paddock out to green summer pasture. I think the rude awakening was well worth it to them!
