I love the old townsite homes in Powell River. This is a window in a basement suite bedroom of one. We didn’t want to take away from the funky window and all it’s character but they needed a blackout blind for sleeping and privacy. We went with a white cassette to blend with the trim and a flat grey roller shade fabric that looked nice with the decor. Feeling like there isn’t much selection for flooring, tiles or window coverings in Powell River? Do what this client did! She brought in a picture of the tiles she wanted which she found off Pinterest. We figured out who the supplier was (which we can get) and what tiles they were and I had samples for her within a couple days. We may live in an isolated community but we do have access to everything! Never feel like you can’t find what you are looking for. I love the challenge.
