For those of you who met his mother, you will understand where that came from as I would clone her if I could as a model for sport parents. Jonathan also benefited from a community to reached out to him and others to help him along his path. I have no doubt that down the road he will repay that many times over and serve as a role model... for so many for years to come. To all of his coaches, and the teacher her brought him to our attention back in grade school take a bow. Job well done. Now time to sit back and just be fans!!

Sadly, I am almost at this point and so thankful I read Stephen Covey's 7 Habits at the beginning of fatherhood as it grounded me and put my priorities into perspective. Those older and wiser than I told me it would go fast, and they were not mistaken. Make the choice of making the most of this wonderful thing called parenthood!
