"Indeed, it largely seems like Ontario’s government wasn’t ready for this stage of an entirely visible and predictable crisis, dithered for four extra days after dithering for weeks, bickered over doing the bare minimum, and in the end, did something that might slow transmission among those who can protect themselves, while letting those who can’t be devoured. And it says it is doing everything it can. We all make choices, and in a pandemic sometimes those decisions come back to haunt others, and Ontario is merely that on a grander scale.
