May 7th 2021 Our first full day in our new store. We opperated curbside due to the Covid restrictions. Our first grooming customer was named Penny. Our First Sale was Cat Food.... Our team was amazing. Our customers were fabulous. The weather was beautiful. All in all.... a GREAT first day. Looking forward to the day we can invite you all in and safely share this beauty of a new store with each of you. More pictures to come once we get a bit more settled in. See more

Hello everyone. I haven't gotten legal confirmation yet but based on the latest information, it certainly looks like will be reopening for in-store shopping after the stay home order ends on the 16th. I am trying to clarify for dog grooming as well. We will keep you posted as this develops. (We will also return to regular store hours at that time).

Effective immediately: Under new Provincial guidelines, curbside walk up service is currently unlawful. This new regulation states customers may now only pickup a curbside item if they have ordered it in advance of their arrival at the retailer location. Our hours today are 9am- 7pm. Update: At this time we will not be taking any more appointments for the dogs. We are booked solid for the next week. We will do an updated post if at that ti...me there is any dogs left. Thank you everyone for your support. The time has come!! Our staff and volunteers couldn't of asked for anything better for Christmas. This August the Police and Animal Welfare unit (PAWS) removed 27 dogs from a travel trailer at the court house. These dogs have been housed with us since. Unfortunantly the owner fought the charges so the dogs had to stay with us for longer then expected. We just recieved word that the dogs are officially surrendered to us and they can go up for adoption!!!. There is an adoption process that we will strictly be following to adhere to the Covid protocols. You must call the shelter at 7058784618 to set up an appt to meet the dogs. We will be booking appointments from 12 to 3. With each person getting a half an hour to view them. If you show up without an appt we will schedule you one for when there is time available. Which may not be the same day These dogs are all jack russel/ chihuahua mix. Ages range from 4 months to 4 years. They did have a rough past and had to fight for food so some are food aggressive. We do not suggest that they go to homes with young children. They did spend all their time in the trailer, even though we have been working with them the past few months they are not house broken. They do also have a tendency to eat their own feces. All we want is to find these dogs a good home, so please be patient as this a learning curve for us as well. Remember please call the shelter to book an appt, we will not respond to Facebook messages and will answer calls quicker then emails. We will not put a hold on any of the dogs until you have met them.

Weekend Help Wanted We are looking to expand our team! We are currently seeking part time weekend crew.... The perfect candidate is: - Available to work weekends - Able to provide excellent customer service and engage comfortably with the public - Knowledgeable of multiple pet species.
