Fun fact, Lovelies... I rarely take flowers home. How weird eh? You would think I would have them everywhere! I made this centrepiece out of some of the broken stems I had. I always tell people to treat themselves and I rarely do. I’m gonna start. (I prefer centrepieces over arrangements for my home!) Good morning, Lovelies! **Real talk** I’m am struggling. ... The latest restrictions put in place made me postpone my Drag Queen Bingo event that was supposed to happen yesterday and today. I find myself feeling so down for the last few days and quite honestly, feeling defeated. I’m trying so hard to stay positive as I like to think of myself as a pretty positive person, but it’s so hard right now. All this Covid-19 stuff is making life so difficult. But, this morning a man and his wife came into the store and they warmed my heart. It was so nice to hear such kind words about the store. Apparently, he was a recipient of our Train Stop Flower Bombs (we hand out free flowers to people stuck at the train tracks in front of the store randomly). So together we made this cute little gift box. It includes: a DM bouquet, a bag of @pokopopcorngp and a chocolate bar from @shadetreechocolatestudio! This is our new Cheer up, Buttercup Box and is $45! It’s the perfect little pick me up for someone who needs one, like me today! These are going to be added to our grab and go section! But this year has been a tough one for so many and I feel so blessed to be here doing what we do.... so, we are going to do a food drive at the shop to help out the GP Food Bank. Whoa... it’s a little later for my daily wisdom for you lovelies! I apologize. And since it’s #truthtuesday, I’ve decided to be honest today and it’s a bit of a long one! I really don’t know what I am doing.... Sometimes, I get super nervous as I have a lot riding on this. It’s funny that when you follow your dreams and you finally get there, it’s like now what!?! Reality kicks in and it can be scary, really scary. But I cannot express all my appreciation for all our clients. The ones who can’t tap their debit because the damn machine isn’t working or the ones who stay a minute to let me bounce ideas off of you. It’s means so much to me that you all are patient with me and our sweet little store. I may not have it all figured out and quite frankly, I probably won’t ever, but I love what I am doing.
