A few years back We picked up a horse that had been euthanized. The farmers dog licked the blood from the injection site. The dog went blind from the drugs present. It happened again yesterday but the dog passed away. Please be careful to cover up and clean up any discharge. Don't let any other animals near the euthanized animal. I don't have clinical proof of this but it is the facts that I know.
