Today we remember Akasha Noel Cousins Whitman who passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2017. Akasha Noel Cousins Whitman February 20, 2004 March 7, 2017 In loving memory of a dear and loyal friend & pal, ... who was part of our lives and family. The house is quiet, no more snoring to be heard, no more sounds of your barking, it just seems so absurd. No more giving away the plots of the TV shows we watched. No more funny noises from the kitchen as you search for food we might have dropped. The house is quiet, the house is still, but our hearts are full of the memories you left, of the love you gave. Akasha that is where you will always stay! Love your Dads, Todd Whitman & Matthew Cousins Sr. Your Pal Maggie Mae Your Grandparents Pat McPartland & Ron and Nancy Whitman And the many other people whose lives you touched. A Message to our new found friends on Facebook. We at Pet Cremation by McCormack Funeral are overwhelmed by the response we have received in such a short time. But, there appears to be an assumption that has cropped up that requires clarification, a little cremation 101. Funeral homes in the province of Ontario are not allowed to own a machine for cremation on site. The service we are providing is facilitating the cremation of your pet, similar to how we are the facilitator f...or cremation for our traditional cliental. People and pets are never cremated in the same facility and no facility locally is outfitted for the cremation of our pets. So we are using a facility out of town that deals exclusively with the cremation of pets. One of the premier services we offer in addition to facilitating cremation is to come to your home to take your pet into our care, relieving you of the burden of having to transport your pet yourself. We are also offering a number of new and unique ways to memorialize your pet and a facility to celebrate their life if you chose. Pet Cremation is a unique service offering for McCormack Funeral Home and now allows us to look after all members of your family. We are proud to be the first and only funeral home in Sarnia and Lambton County to offer this service. See more

Today we remember Cassie Egan who passed away on Sunday February 5, 2017. Cassie Egan We lost a treasured friend today. Cassie crossed peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge to the run the meadows and feel the warm sun on her face. She was so loved by many of us, most especially by her people parents Bob and Sue and her beloved Caroline, who always had a biscuit in her purse when she came for a visit. Cassie took her duties of watching over the grand boys at play quite seriously, and was so very gentle with the little ones. Cassie was born on March 25, 2004, and we are grateful for all of the wonderful years we had with her. She was such a gentle soul and a loving companion. Farewell sweet girl, you will never be forgotten.
