The next municipal election will be in October 2020, and I will be re-offering for the seat of District Nine Councillor for the Municipality of the County of Kings. It’s been a dynamic four years and I hope to continue the momentum in the next term (2020-2024)!

People can now gather in groups of up to 10 without physical distancing. Groups don’t need to be exclusive but are strongly encouraged to be. This replaces fami...ly household bubbles. People can also now gather in groups of up to 50 with physical distancing. This applies to social events, faith gatherings, sports and physical activity, weddings and funerals, and arts and culture events. Effective today, playgrounds can reopen. Municipalities and other owners will need time to prepare them, so people should not expect them to open immediately. It's important to remember the basics: wash your hands often, cough or sneeze into your arm and stay home if you are sick.

Nova Scotia is introducing the immediate family bubble, allowing two immediate family households to come together without physical distancing. The families must... be mutually exclusive to each other to minimize risk of #COVID19 spread. Families cannot have large family gatherings like birthday celebrations or reunions. When selecting which other family household they’ll connect with, families should consider three factors age, occupation and health condition of all household members.
