The Peter Banting Swingtet is sad to announce the passing of one our alumni musician, Don Wingfield died with his wife Barbara at his side on Saturday Feb 18, 2017. The band was fortunate to play at Don's retirement residence a couple weeks earlier. We were so proud to introduce Don to the other members of the residence and to let them know what a talented saxophonist they had among them. We were happy to see both Barbara and Don. He will be missed.
