In lieu of the club having their annual Christmas dinner due to C-19, a $500 donation has been made to the Kawartha Food Share. #kawarthas #kawarthafood #localcharity #staysafe
A reminder to all of our followers that some of our fishing licenses may be expiring end of this year. Double check! Particularly those that ice fish.
With fall upon us, we think about water temp changes, shorter periods of sunlight, lake turn over and fish migration. Here are some great tips and fish health suggestions for fall fishing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5VZ9tCqV1Y

Saturday June 20th is the opening of Bass for Zone 17; home of the Peterborough Bassmasters. Good luck this season to all of our followers.

The most important take away is to check for local restrictions on outdoor areas. With many waterfront parks and areas along rivers and lakes currently closed, it will be hard to access any location at this time.
Supporting a great organization.
Spring is just around the corner .....

A few pics from the Dec 2nd 2019 AGM and Christmas meeting at Jesse's in Bridgenorth. Angler of the Year, Co-Angler of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Member of the Year were awarded. Thank you Bob from Shimano for the donated gifts to include with the awards! Also ... a big thanks to Kyle for bringing the display/demo unit of the new Garmin Force trolling motor connected to latest sonar unit.
With the bass season coming to an end it's time for the winter club meetings to start back up. The clubs first winter meeting will be Monday Oct 7th at 7PM in the upstairs meeting room of Champs Sports Bar. New members always welcome.

It's official. The Peterborough Bassmasters participation in the 'adopt a road' program gets posted! A section of road along Buckhorn Rd between Selwyn and Curve Lake Rd now has signage recognizing the clubs donation.
To Lake Residents, Campers and Visitors: The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is responsible for monitoring the abundance and health of fish populations in the lakes and rivers across Ontario. MNRF science crews will collect information on fish species, take water samples, and check for invasive species in this lake and approximately 145 other lakes from June to September. If you are on this lake while it is being monitored and see MNRF buoys, please don’t lift the nets or buoys, and avoid recreational activities or anchoring between and around the buoys. All MNRF nets are clearly marked with orange buoys bearing the Ontario logo. Nets are checked and moved to a new location every day.
