930 participants were included in this study, 551 were treated with Vitamin D, and 379 patients acted as controls (did not receive Vitamin D). The results of t...his study clearly show that hospitalized patients treated with Vitamin D are less likely to be admitted to the ICU and are less likely to die than hospitalized patients who do not receive Vitamin D. I actually wonder if we're going to be able to replicate this study ethically, given the overwhelmingly positive results. Is it ethical not to treat patients with Vitamin D?
Managing Your Emotions Did you know that by merely moving your body and changing your physiology when your feeling down can change your mood? By simply keeping... your head up high, pulling your shoulders back and take some deep belly breathes, this can allow you to feel more empowered and provides a resourceful state of being. Most people habitually drop their head and look to the floor when feeling down, nudging you closer to a depressive state. Another extremely important consideration when managing your emotions is your language and more importantly the dialogue you have with yourself. The words you speak constantly play a key role in your interpretation and perception of any circumstance or situation that affects your emotional state. By speaking more positively you are more likely to maintain a positive state of mind. Lastly manage your emotions by directing your focus -where focus goes, energy flows!
