A message from Dr Mary Rorke on behalf of OAH: As you are aware, as of today, July 17, 2020, the province of Ontario has instituted stage 3 reopening of certain businesses and services during this pandemic. What this means for veterinary clnics in Ontario is that they have the option to re-open their doors to client traffic with certain recommended practices and procedures in place, namely hand santization, temperature taking, social distancing and mandatory use of masks. We ...at OAH are delaying this change in preference to maintaining our current curb-side service. We feel that curb-side offers a safer enviornment for our clients and staff, and the health of all is our primary concern. Curb-side has been working well for us and, in the likely event of a resurgence of the COVID-19 virus, will provide the most assurance of continued health for our family of clients and our irreplaceable team. The distancing protocol which has been working well to keep our clients and our team safe will be continued, but be assured that we will still provide you and your beloved companions with the quality care you expect from us. Call us at 705-743-4936 to set up your appointment for vaccines, annual examinations, heartworm and tick-borne disease screen...ing, nail trims, laser therapy and other wellness care needs. Elective surgeries and COHATs (Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment), formerly known as dental cleanings, will be scheduled. We will strive to include your pet as soon as possible, but we expect there will be high demand. Bear with us as we try to accommodate all our patients’ needs!
