We finally did it ! After 6 years of Professional kickboxing and Muay Thai being illegal, our Peterecs Promotions May 31st Shock & Awe show was the final straw that broke the camels back.. Professional fighter Lindsay Ball’s fight which brought into the spot light these issues facing combat sports in BC, helped turn some heads. Stan has fought long and hard to get things changed and it has now come to pass. Today Peterec Promotions Promoter Stan Peterec was there along with BC Athletic Commission head Kelly Gilday for the signing by the Minister Lisa Beare of Tourism, Arts and Culture, for the inclusion of Professional Kickboxing in BC.
