Bless Foodora who make sure my cabin fever maintains uninterrupted

One of the most intriguing people I noticed when I first moved to Toronto was it’s dog walkers. They did not just walk one dog but many dogs at once. I thought what a symbol of the over worked people and entrepreneurial spirit of this city. To me, it highlight how individuals have to multitask separate ventures to make money (walking one dog alone could never balance the bills). But, more importantly that each dog belonged to an owner and a family that is far to consumed with their own daily grind to make ends meet.

This year I’ll be getting back to my geometrical style. I find this style so fulfilling and artistically challenging. Working the beauty of a line and using geometric shapes to simplify the world the way I see it. This painting was inspired by the beaches of Panama I visited this month.
