Accepting a offer is very exciting and is definitely a step in the right direction to getting that official Sold But don’t get too comfortable yet. The home inspection usually brings up more negotiations (depending on what is found) so this is another opportunity to take a good look throughout the home and make some quick fixes to help make the home inspection go much smoother and avoid any unnecessary negotiating. Also speak with you’re realtor about options about the status of the home. Some people like to stop showings and wait until the condition period is over. I personally like staying on the market and book showings still. Just in case things don’t finalize for whatever reason.

What’s up with Realtors anyway? Realtors are not all made equal and don’t always share the same values or ethics when it comes to how we represent ourselves and most importantly our clients. Now of course I wasn’t happy about the home not being show ready but I’m not one to decline a potential buyer from seeing it either. ... It all comes back to being flexible and rolling with The punches when you’re selling a home.
