On behalf of Peter’s Expediting Ltd., we would like to extend our congratulations to Peter Tapatai. This past Monday, Peter Tapatai was formally recognized after receiving the Order of Nunavut. On behalf of our staff, shareholders, partners, friends & family, we congratulate you.

Peter’s Expediting Ltd. has been committed to the community, region and Territory’s safety against COVID-19. Yesterday, President, Peter Tapatai, received his Moderna vaccination. With him is Baker Lake raised Nurse Diane Iyago. So much local pride in one picture. Great job you two!

As we are all aware, COVID-19 made its way up to Nunavut earlier in November. We wanted to ensure we assisted in keeping our children safe in the schools and community. Picture below is Jonah Amitnaaq High School’s Principal Chris Snow in Baker Lake receiving 2000 adult sized masks from Peter Tapatai, President on Dec. 1st. We also delivered 2000 children sized masks to Principal Helen DePeuter of the Rachel Arngnammaktiq Elementary School. Stay safe! Thank you Oliberté for the partial donation of 1,500 masks and prompt response in supplying our masks for our children!

Good morning! We wish to share that effective Nov. 1, 2020, Peter’s Expediting Ltd. will no longer be carrying out the duties of Calm Air flight turnarounds. Calm Air is in the process of internalizing the operations in Baker Lake. We are grateful for the years of opportunity and do wish to thank all of the past and current PEL staff for their hard work over the past 15 years. There were many early mornings and late nights that the PEL staff worked and we appreciate that very much. We wish them luck in their future endeavors.

On behalf of all of us at PEL, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for all the shares and comments of an incident that occurred outside our local office yesterday. We are so honoured and grateful that we can feel secure as a company knowing that our valued community members support our community. This feeling of assurance of an unofficial neighbourhood watch is much appreciated. Thank you Baker Lake!
