The first Remembrance Day ceremony was held on the anniversary of the Armistice in 1919 in order to honor the great sacrifices these soldiers had done. Remembra...nce Day isn’t about glorifying or vilifying war, it is about coming together as a nation under one flag to remember all those servicemen and women who fought and have given up so much to protect our beautiful nation. We thank you and we salute you for your incredible bravery and the courageous self-sacrifice that you have endured in order to keep our great country safe. Thank you. We will never forget. We will remember you.
