Since COVID-19 first began spreading, school divisions have been provided over $1 billion in funding for COVID-19 related costs such as PPE and sanitation, and to keep Alberta schools safe.

Today, the Alberta government announced a bold investment of up to $370 million that will support hiring unemployed Albertans into thousands of jobs, and protect lives and livelihoods. The Alberta Jobs Now program will help reduce the costs of hiring and training unemployed Albertans for jobs, encouraging employers to create jobs for Albertans as the economy recovers

The first Remembrance Day ceremony was held on the anniversary of the Armistice in 1919 in order to honor the great sacrifices these soldiers had done. Remembra...nce Day isn’t about glorifying or vilifying war, it is about coming together as a nation under one flag to remember all those servicemen and women who fought and have given up so much to protect our beautiful nation.
