A very common question we get is "if chicken meal is bad" the answer to that is NO! Meat meal is essentially the meat but with all the water removed. This keeps all the nutrients inside the meat but without the extra water to bulk it up. So pound for pound meat meal is more concentrated than fresh meats (roughly 1 lb of meat meal equals 3 lbs of fresh meat) When looking at your pets food always make sure you have named meats - meaning no unknown meats such as by-products. Look for chicken or chicken meal VS poultry meal or poultry by-products.
