Hi Allow us to introduce our selves I'm Wendy Ross the owner of Pets N People dog walking and pet sitting service. Mollie the Airedale Terrier is my side kick and inspiration for starting my own dog walking business. A bit about me first . I was raised in Woodstock and attended College Ave Secondary School. A life long animal lover, our family had an assortment of dogs, cats, ponies and horses. During my teen years I caught the harness racing bug and for many years had a car...eer racing standardbred race horses. After working as a caretaker and trainer and racing official, the later I still do on a part time basis at Western Fair Raceway. . I worked for an equine veterinarian practice for 18yrs. My duties included assisting the vets with diagnostic procedures, ie. x-ray and ultrasound and the many other tasks. In 2015 I made the move back to Woodstock to be closer to family and to help my parents burn off some of Mollies high energy I concluded that there would be other pet owners who needed help with their pets. I had been dreaming of owning my own small business for a few years . Pets N People was born. What an enjoyable 5yrs it has been. I have enjoyed meeting and learning about new breeds of dogs and cats. Laughed at the silly antics of puppies and kittens. Hunted high and low for a glimpse of a shy cat and gloated when they graced me with their presence. Sat with and loved on senior pets and mourned their lost when they passed on. But most of all I enjoy witnessing the joy that pets bring to their people. With the help of my two staff walkers Teresa Bendall and Chelsea Lively we are dedicated to being there for your pet when you can't be! We provide customizable visits to your pet. Most popular for dogs is a 30 minute visit to have a potty break, walk and or playtime in your fenced in yard. For cats we can do wellness checks in your home to feed, freshen water and clean litter boxes. Pets N People is insured and all staff have a current police check.
