Send your snaps to [email protected] and/ or upload them to social media using the hashtag #meowmasks. If you haven't gotten your paws on a MEOW mask yet, it isn't too late. To order one ($10 each), email [email protected]. See our previous posts and Instagram highlights for a list of patterns available.

***SUPPORT OUR KITTENS*** It's Friday night and most of us are currently unable to go out for our post-work drinks or appies. Thankfully, you can find that feel...-good factor in another way: by donating the cost of your drink/ meal to help us to care for our kittens! Are you in? Tag your going out buddy and get them on board! Donations can be made here: http://ow.ly/pqsO50zqUfJ We recently introduced you to Conan, Ciarra and Orlla. These three tiny kittens have spent the majority of their young lives battling for something many of us take for granted: good health. When their litter came into this world in March, four of the five were diagnosed with a severe illness known as Panleukopenia. Unfortunately, these three lost two siblings to this illness. While times have been uncertain for them in recent weeks, it seems that things are finally looking up. We are thrilled to announce that the tiny trio are currently thriving and have recently tested negative for this devastating virus! In the coming weeks, they will require all of the support and care that any kitten requires and they are sure to receive it back in the loving home of their Foster Mom, where they will be monitored for the coming weeks. Show these babies that you're rooting for them by sharing their story, sending good vibes and donating what you can! http://ow.ly/pqsO50zqUfJ

AARCS COVID-19 CRISIS CONTINUES As the current global crisis evolves rapidly due to the COVID-19 outbreak, our team continues to work diligently to attend to... the health and welfare of the over 400 animals currently under our care. The province of Alberta has recognized the importance of providing care and services to the animals of our community and has deemed animal welfare organizations, such as AARCS, to be an essential service. Liberty is one of our recent rescues and currently a patient of our Veterinary Hospital. Like every single animal that comes through our doors, her resilience is something to be admired. Her body was ravaged in open wounds and punctures from being attacked by another animal. We can't help but be reminded of a dog that came in around this time last year, her name was Cinder (#SaveCinder). As an essential service in Alberta, we are able to keep our doors open to help animals like just Liberty. Her smile is just as contagious as her love. Liberty has now been placed in a foster home where she continues to recover from the trauma she endured. We are looking forward to seeing her transform over the upcoming weeks. Her spirit cannot be broken and she inspired us all to keep fighting the good fight, no matter what life throws our way. FULL UPDATE HERE: https://conta.cc/2Jry3yd Please consider becoming an AARCS Hero by signing up as a monthly donor or give a one-time donation at aarcs.ca/donate. Together we can ensure the health and needs of homeless animals are maintained during this global crisis. #AARCS #COVID_19 #Love4LadyLiberty
