Low cost spay neuter has been around for decades. What changed in the 1990's was the realization that the problem was growing faster than the contemporary strategies could cope. A group of dedicated individuals, business people as well as veterinary professionals, developed a team approach and a strategy to do spays and neuters quickly and safely. Humane Alliance was born and in 25 years, trained almost 200 veterinary teams to do high volume low cost spay neuter efficiently and safely. Today there are Humane Alliance trained staff in London, Toronto, Barrie, and Newmarket, as well as other teams which have been trained in a second generation. Don't you think it is time for Kingston to have a clinic where surgeries can be done affordably?

We appreciate that there is curiousity about the people in the PetSnip Group.. We are a working group of retired business professionals who have been developing a business proposal for a clinic based on the procedures and policies of Humane Alliance. We have pooled over 70 years of experience in business development, with financial, marketing and hospital management skills, and we have a Humane Alliance trained consultant. We never wanted this to be about personalities. W...e KNOW the animal welfare communitiy is rife with personality differences and issues. We want to build a team that will help us carry this forward and that team has to be mission-driven, with the skills to follow through. That is why we posted this as if it were a job ad. We are targetting people of similar professional backgrounds to ours who are retired and want to contribute. See more

The new facility will serve Kingston and surrounding area ... It will provide affordable Spay/Neuter service to disadvantaged dogs and cats and their families.
