(AD) The Walk for Dog Guides is a national fundraising walk to help raise funds to train Dog Guides for Canadians with visual, hearing, medical or physical disabilities. ... Did you know that it costs approximately $35,000 to breed, train and place Dog Guides with Canadians with disabilities? And did you know that they are provided to those in need at no cost? Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides does not receive any government funding to do this they need our support to continue to provide these life-changing Dog Guides!
