Hand Knitted Sweaters

So 5 years ago when the twins started at Assumption School, the pic on the right is the existing vinyl poster that was hung out on the fence at the sidewalk. Over the 5 yrs I watched this poster fade, rip and eventually it fell off the fence back in 2017. Well I said to myself, "Self, you could design a banner that will never fade, rip or fall down, and could be seen far away, well at least on Montreal Rd". Well the pic on the left is the completed banner, measuring 7' x 5'. ...I'm hoping to get it hung up in the spring once the snow has gone. Assumption school has been amazing and has worked continually to help our kids as well as all other students that attend there. I wanted to say thanks and felt this was a great way to that. Plus I am hoping to have it hung on the wall above the entrance to the day-care, which means it will visible from Montreal Rd. It took 10 months and 8 days to complete. Thank you Assumption Catholic School for an awesome job.

And it's not just for human loved ones, could get one even for our furbabies.

Calling all upcoming winter brides. How about a knitted wedding dress. And the dress comes with a unique idea for after the wedding. Read on. The dress has been knitted with baby yarn, white. So, if the person who does buy the dress chooses, she can return the dress, I will unravel it and reknit the yarn into baby outfits. The first set will go to the newlyweds and the rest will be donated to the NICU's here in Ottawa on behalf of the new couple. I would want a pic of the br...ide wearing the gown as I want to include a little congrats card for the new parents. The dress is a size 16/18 and is 36" from waist to floor and an off the shoulder neckline. There are 2 rows of hearts along the bottom and the skirt has a 10' diameter. Asking $1500

Well folks I'm back. Been working on a couple big projects this past year. One of them will be posted here shortly. The other projects will get posted shortly as I have not presented them to the people I made the items for. I will also work on posting more often and provide updates on a couple current projects.
