A long-time mountain bike enthusiast is taking the lead at developing a new adaptive bike trail that will incorporate a wide range of riders, with a focus on riders who require adapted bikes to fit their physical ability. The goal is to raise $80,000, create a trail, and have it completed by the end of the summer. If everything goes to plan for the team of local trail builders, adaptive mountain bikes will be racing down the hill at Pidherny together with other mountain biker...s. If all the funding falls into place construction will begin with a local building crew this summer. People wanting to donate are encouraged to do so online at Pidherny Flow and Adaptive Friendly Trail. https://www.gofundme.com/f/pidherny-flow-and-adaptive-frien

Hope there's something under the tree for you from one of our awesome bike shops in town!
Once again we are amazed at how fantastic our community is! New Route Trail Solutions offered a $10,000 in kind donation to the Pidherny Flow Trail! We can't wait to see the awesome trail that you build! Thank you so much to New Route Trail Solutions and all of the supporters!
Happy Winter Solstice! Are you spending the shortest day of the year outside?
Fundraising for the Pidherny Adaptive Flow Trail is going to look a little different this year to keep everyone safe. We're looking for your feedback on what type of virtual events and/or fundraising initiatives you would be interested in. Virtual BINGO? Virtual Trivia? PGCC Socks? PGCC Hats? Comment below!
The Prince George Cycling Club groomer completed the groomed network at Pidherny today. Tracks have set up nicely. Big Ass Hill is clear and also been added to ...the groomed network. Soft at the bottom. Watch out for the waist deep snow drifts on the north face of ridge access trail. Stick to the trees access
Warmer temperatures are making trails soft - a winter trail etiquette reminder
The Prince George Cycling Club groomer made it out to tune up some areas that still have enough snow to do so. The groomer doesn’t work on ice or dirt! Kk’s cab...in-wombat -then up battleground will make for a short 5km loop with dirt, snow and surprisingly not much ice and also gives an option to cross over tyner to the Unbc/fftw trails See more

Hello club members. More good news! Byron Conroy(formerly Mountain director) has stepped up to take on the PGCC president role and his partner Alison Conroy is moving into the vacant Mountain director position! These two are dedicated cyclists, and all-around quality humans, who will be great ambassadors for the club. Huge thanks to these, and other, volunteers who make cycling awesome in PG! PS- Still looking for a membership coordinator to round out the board.

Here it is everyone, your chance to give back to the trails you love and support the Prince George Cycling Club , in creating a new blue square flow trail that ...will be our communities very first adaptive cycling friendly trail. If there is one thing that 2020 has taught me its that everyone deserves outdoor recreation opportunities regardless of your situation. Your donation will help us make that a reality. I am always open to questions about the project and would love to hear from you if you would like to support us in a non-monetary way. Devon Budd - Director of Pidherny.

Hey all. It has recently been brought to our attention that there are tickets for the cancelled VIMFF out there. Full disclosure: we 100% forgot about this! It's almost like a huge global event cast down and disrupted life as we know it....we apologize and ask those who have tickets reach out via messenger and let us know so we can reimburse you.
