PANL 18.06.2021

PANL President Janice Audeau was on Open Line yesterday to discuss PANL’s recent presentations to Health Accord NL. She highlighted the evidence showing that pharmacists practicing to full scope would improve health outcomes and realize cost savings. Pharmacists are underutilized within the healthcare system - government support is needed to maximize our potential for the benefit of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. Hear it for yourself! https://vocm.com/2019/08/01/open-line-with-paddy-daly/ Select the track for Tuesday, May 11 and Janice’s segment starts at 1:44:15

Your safety is our number one priority at Family HealthMed Pharmacy. Given the increase in cases in the Western NL Health Region, we wanted to share this infogr...aphic about the do's and don'ts of mask wearing. This is extremely important and we, as a community, must be extra vigilant right now for everyone's safety. https://www.canada.ca//covid-19-safely-use-non-medical-mas If you do not wear a mask properly, you cannot enter the clinic. Our staff may ask you to modify the way you are wearing your mask if it is not correct. This is to ensure that the effort you are making to protect others by wearing your mask is as effective as you intended it to be. We have many patients that rely on us for their health care and we cannot take any chances. If you are not able to wear a face mask, we still have you covered! We can certainly accommodate your medication needs through our free delivery service or a curbside pick up option. This keeps you safe as well :) At this time out of an abundance of caution, we are asking our patients and customers to please call in prescriptions ahead of time and only make a trip to the pharmacy when it is essential. We are all in this together! - Your Family HealthMed Pharmacy Team
