The third Monday in January is considered by many to be the saddest day of the year. Cold weather, fewer daylight hours, and post-holiday blues are all factors that contribute to feelings of sadness at this time of year. The COVID-19 pandemic is also keeping many from going out, or even interacting with friends and family. This year don't forget to be AWESOME! Us humans are social creatures, and it’s important that we find ways to communicate with others during the pandemic....whether it be Zoom, telephone calls, going for a socially distanced walk or doing a drive by and waving at your friends.

Cora says: "It's time to mask up!" The response to our cloth masks has been AMAZING! We have a few kid ones available (3 sizes) and still have lots of adult ones too. Thank you Portage la Prairie!

Heads up: our slice of Portage is getting a tune up tomorrow, JULY 30th, at 5pm so we will be without power starting then. Sadly, we will have to close our doors at 5pm tomorrow but will be re-open Friday at 9am.
