More than 2.9 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Ontario since January.
Last month we had the pleasure of meeting with one of Toronto's Mobile Crisis Intervention Teams (MCIT). A collaboration between an experienced mental health nurse with a specialized trained officer, they are trained and called into situations dealing with mental health, addiction and public safety. This uniquely trained team is routinely called in to deescalate and resolve complex and sometimes high risk situations. We wanted to highlight their crucial role in the city's mental health and public safety, see the CityNews coverage [https://www.bttoronto.ca//torontos-mobile-crisis-interven/ ]

"One study conducted in Hamilton, Ont., found that one in five faxed requests for consultations notes sent from doctor to doctor do not even get a response"... https://www.theglobeandmail.com//article-why-are-fax-mach/
New PSO Members, we will be emailing you ID forms directly :) (we got a lot more responses than expected with the public link) Thank you all for your support!
