This 1940’s vanity needed some TLC but she has cleaned up really nicely and is heading home this weekend. These custom colors have resulted in a stunning statement piece. I also got some practise in with my new Prima stamps and they sure add a nice touch to the drawers!

This custom, lovely antique dresser was one of the most challenging pieces I’ve had to work on, with a finish nearly impossible to sand down that then bled through multiple layers of primer, she kept me busy. I am relieved it is finally done and turned out so well. She will look amazing in her new home! Done in fusion limestone and chocolate.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! I am excited that I can finally post this awesome radio that I refinished for my husband’s birthday! It doesn’t work and was in terrible shape but it has cleaned up nicely and I put some lights in the back.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I have to agree. Most people would see these couches and cringe, but I see their character and the amazing detailing of the bun feet, the tufting (button detailing) on the arms and that dusty rose works incredibly well with teal and mustard. These vintage couches are being appreciated again, are very high quality compared to what is made today and were also very reasonably priced being second hand! am just loving these new additions to my living room!

Here are a couple of new pieces that have gone home this week. The China cabinet is Homestead Blue with new glass knobs and the child’s desk is Tropical Cocktail with a newly stained and varathaned top! I have some more pieces that I can’t post because of Christmas . I hope everyone is safe and healthy!

I have this beautiful vanity from the 1940’s that I would love to work on. The drawer pulls are amazing! I have added some photos in the comments of some different ways to use a vanity other than just as a makeup station. They can be great in an entryway, as a tv stand or as a desk. I use mine to fill an awkward space in my living room and to store my work paperwork. If you are interested in this piece in a customer colour/style send me a message!

I finally got my mustard chairs done and my dining room has enough furniture cleared out to get a pic. I love how they turned out against the teal table base. This boring oak cabinet also look amazing in Homestead blue and went to its new home today.
