We have been asked why 99? There are three reasons. First, we opened the first Ph 99 in 1999. Second, number nine is an auspicious number in Vietnamese culture. It's the highest single digit. Lastly, we love hockey. As such, number 99, in recognition of Wayne Gretzky's achievements, is our way of setting out to be the best Ph house in BC.

It has been five weeks since we become a part of the community. Many mistakes were made and many lessons learned. Thank you for your support and feedback. We are not there yet, but striving to be everyday. For example, we have doubled ordering stations, doubled merchant terminals, reconfigured the layout for the forth time, streamlined our kitchen, and removed a few customer service bottleneck points. All in an effort to be more efficient while maintaining quality. It is comforting to hear you say that "it's better."

Mn chào! In Vietnamese "mn chào" means hello. It is our great pleasure to announce that Pho 99 will open in Spring 2017. Until then, we have uploaded construction pictures and preliminary info of the restaurant. Just like this page, changes are coming. We welcome your comments in the meantime and look forward to finding ways to incorporate them into the design of the restaurant.
