Jane’s raku day today, tomorrow is show and tell

Coming out of the kiln, the molds are now broken away and these all go back into the kiln to get their ‘swim’ A gentle bend that gives them a little motion.

Loading molds, 6 Salmon casting in Jane’s big Tucker kiln. Looking forward to restocking galleries and auctioning glass salmon to support habitat restoration. One for the Courtenay estuary recovery at the old Field sawmill site Kus kus sum and another for Martindale wetland work by MVIHES on the Englishman River tributary,Shelly Creek. Stay tuned!
