Well we are just waiting for full approval and the new operational guidelines but it looks like will finally reopen hopefully next week so as of this week we will be booking tattoo & piercing appointments but i know we will be booking up fast so if you are wanting to get something done dont wait too long. TATTOOERS. Like all personal industries shut down in bc, Dr. Bonnie requires that we submit a proposal of future safety measures to operate in a safe environm...ent that would convince her we can limit the risk of transmitting and transferring covid. Many other industries of done this and are being considered our problem is this......we are NOT PART OF A UNION. This has always been a hot topic with Tattooer’s. I think we really need to consider this if we are to move forward in the future. This epidemic really could shut us down for good and the only way we will be able to survive is through UNITY. I have no idea how to go about it but after speaking with a health official of Frasier health this morning he felt that tattooing would be one of the last to open of all the shut down businesses. Of course there was some confusion of the precautions that tattooers have taken for years which puts us miles ahead of other personal service industries like salons barbers and hairdressers that will be considered before us, so at this point we need a strong, large voice. Time to start working together. See more
