Last night history was made. Last night was 24 years in the making. Blood, sweat, tears and tough decisions. All for one goal. ... Canada, we finally did it!!! The Toronto Raptors are not only the face of Toronto, but an entire country that has stood behind them from day 1. Through every loss, elimination, missed game winning shot and trade, Canada has finally brought home the Larry O'Brien Trophy where it belongs. This is why I love basketball so much. It is so much more than a sport. It is passion, determination, discipline, sportsmanship and comradarie. It brings people together. It pushes you beyond your limits to become a better player, teammate and friend. It teaches you how to respect your opponent in the most intense moments. It gives you skills that will stick with you forever, even after your days of playing are done. Basketball has always been so much more to me than just a game. It's been the one constant in my life for over 21 years. You have to work your butt off to compete against the best. It is mentally and physically challenging. Even after years of playing, I can still walk onto a court, put my music on and get lost for hours. One touch of the ball and I feel like im home. Basketball is home to me and I want to share my home with you. I want to share my love and passion for this game. I want to share how incredibly life changing this sport can be. Did you know that basketball was invented by a Canadian!? Did you know that Pascal Siakam is now part of the develpoment program of Basketball Canada and the Jr.NBA? Summer camp is approaching fast!!! The Jr.NBA program is amazing. It has some of the top players and coaches that have been part of its development. The Youth of Petawawa deserve to have a Skills Development Program they can be part of. Basketball IS Canada ... With our summer camp approaching, we are looking for some coaches to help with the camp!! I have a few paid positions available, for coaching and childcare. If you might be interested in making some money and having some fun while doing it, please send me a message with what position you are interested in!!... Volunteer positions: I am looking for student or parent volunteers who might be able to come out and help with coaching. This would be a great opportunity for high school students to earn their community service hours! Please message me if you would like to volunteer :)

Super excited to be partnering with Jumpball Player Development to be starting a Youth Basketball League here in the Petawawa and Pembroke area. Starting April 24th, Gerry Benoit will be running a 10 week clinic, finishing up at the end of June. July 22-26 will be a full week of skills development, fun and games!... Starting September 30th, our Competitive House League will be starting! Get your registrations in now!! We are excited to bring a solid skills development program to our area!!

Ages 5-17: 5-7, 8-11, 12+ Camp time will be: 9am-4pm Before care: 8am-9am After care: 4pm-6pm $200.00 for the camp $55.00 for before/after care for the entire week!! Each child will receive: reversible jersey, backpack, basketball and a certificate. Last day of camp will be full of competitions, like: games, shooting, layups and skills...PRIZES to be won!!!
