04.11.21 This #kneady #furball was in want of his hooman's attention, so once his #furmama was lying supine on the table, I helped him cozy up on her chest while I continued with his hooman's #massage (he's an old guy & can't jump much anymore, so he was in need of assistance). Hearing his purring getting louder & louder while his hooman continued to pet him was a soothing sound to me. He stayed put on his hooman until I was about to start massaging his furmama's neck/head,... then he was set back down on the floor; furmama wants to relax & enjoy her neck/scalp massage . This past couple of days was quite an eye opener for me. I wasn't entirely sure what I was opening myself up to when I signed up for this Level 1 course, but I have a slight inkling as to what type of modality Reiki is. So with an open, eager, curious mind and you-can-do-this attitude, I strode in to day 1 of this two day course and left with a whole new perspective and excitement bubbling up inside me that I haven't felt in a while. Learning the basics and understanding what... Reiki is about got me excited and wanting to try it out as soon as I got home, which I did and giving myself self-Reiki treatment was amazing! I walked in to Day 2 feeling refreshed and eager to take in more of what was going to be offered. Suffice to say, I walked out of that class feeling rejuvenated and the sun was shining brighter than ever (in my opinion, of course). I can't wait to be able to share this wonderful, exhilarating feeling with everyone. I still have a few levels to complete in order to be considered a 'Master', but I am on my road to getting there. Thank you, Carmen, for your guidance and knowledge you shared with us this past couple of days. You are a wonderful, caring, and kind-hearted person who really loves and embraces your craft.
