As I see more and more people having hardship, I have decided that any clients that provide us with gratuity, I will be donating those funds to the Calgary Food bank to help the less fortunate. If there are family's that are needing help with their taxes and are in hardship, please email me directly and I will help to have your taxes done. As per the update from the Prime Minister of Canada and the Finance Minister Bill Morneau the tax filing deadline has now been moved to June 1, 2020 and corporate tax payment date has been moved to September 1, 2020. Happy New Years everyone!! As we roll over to a new year you will see a increase in your CPP contribution from 4.95% to 5.10% changing your 2019 limit to $57,400 and self employed will see rate change from 9.9% to 10.2%. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop me a text or email me.

Heads up to all my Facebook friends, a new CRA scam is emerging. They are sending emails stating you have a refund and click on the link to receive your refund. CRA will never send you a refund via email. Please be careful. The email looks very realistic, please don’t get fooled!!
