Guess what day tomorrow is? That's right, it's Zoom Club Meeting day! If you are having issues with Zoom, reach out to us and we will try to help you. Our presenter will be David Clapp, a renowned photographer from the UK. Below, you will find a brief biography. Be sure to visit his web site at https://www.davidclapp.co.uk David Clapp FRPS is one of the UK’s most successful landscape, travel and architectural photographers. A jack of all trades, he initially began working ...as a writer, contributing imagery and words for photography magazines. This led to a career as a full time professional photographer in 2009, amassing a strong position as a global stock photographer. In Jan 2019 David received a direct Fellowship to the Royal Photographic Society, one of the highest accolades in photography, as recognition for ten years as a leading professional. He is a renowned photographic teacher and lecturer and in 2012 was taken on as a technical specialist by Canon UK. He represents Canon at events and trade shows, holding inspirational talks and running customer events alongside Canon staff. He has been a Getty Images contributor for the last four years after attaining a contract in 2015. David is a global photography workshop leader. He runs workshops through his own limited company taking photographers to some of the most exciting locations on the planet. Recent destinations include Namibia, Norway, India, Death Valley, Arizona, Iceland and many more. This quote from David sums up his philosophy of photography. "For me, photography will always be the marriage of computers and cameras. Technology and creativity has always been a constant source of fascination and my vision has always taken a rather elliptical orbit, between day, night, landscape, architecture, and travel. I can’t define exactly what it is I do - so I do them all.’ For the last few years David has been building another revenue stream; photographing super-yachts for yacht charter companies. Most of this work has occurred in the Mediterranean, with commissions to Malta, Majorca and Corfu.

Time to charge your camera batteries! We have a photo walk tomorrow. We had a great time at the last one and everyone was so good at keeping their own personal ...space we are going to try again. Tomorrow, November 13th (Saturday) beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Goderich Railway Bridge Trail. The weather is looking pretty good for tomorrow with a refreshing high of 7 degrees and partly sunny skies. For those of you who may not have visited this trail before, here are the directions: Take Highway 21 North toward Goderich. Stay on 21 to the northern limit of Goderich. Turn left at North Harbour Road. This is the same road where you would find the Goderich Curling Club. It is the very last road before the big bridge on the highway. (If you cross the bridge, you have gone too far.) Be alert as the turn comes up rather quickly. Head toward the lake and you will find ample parking at the trail head. Remember to dress for the weather. If the weather co-operates, there could be some great sunset photo opportunities so you may want your tripod. See you there!
