A bohemian waxwing crushing mouthfuls of delicious mountain ash berries. These guys are amazing to watch. Voracious eaters and huge flocks that tend to ravage these berries in what seems like minutes. Not sure what the odds are that both of these eagles would be blinking at the same time.. Eagles have an inner eyelid called a nictitating membrane, which slides across the cornea every few seconds, cleaning any dust or debris away from the eye, and it's also see through so they can continue to see whats happening around them. So no, these aren't poltergeist birds.. Can you imagine, eagles have eyesight approximately 4 times stronger than that of a human..!
