OK, hopefully the last update for today on Adobe. Here is the short version: Adobe has created a mandatory app store in order for them to take a cut of the things they sell. So far as I can see, there is no way to have an automatic installer and not use this "service." There is also no way to provide a purchase discount for people upgrading from past versions. So for now, I'll make a new release that reverts back to the way we did things with CS3 back in 2010: manual file moving and copying. Thanks so much, Adobe.
Use AutoLoader? Don't update to yesterday's CC "upgrade." It breaks the Extension Manager, which means no more AutoLoader (or, presumably, anything else that uses it but I don't know about that). Adobe is aware.
Tip: Make sure the email address you use with Paypal is one you're going to keep, because it's the only way I can contact you for future updates.
Attention AutoLoader users: There is a bug in the Extension Manager for Photoshop CC (2014) that will make it appear as if AL is installed when in fact it is not. I'm trying to get clarification with Adobe on it, but I'm sure you can guess how that's going. For now, I recommend that you do NOT upgrade.
Photoshop CC update: All scripts are now packaged up for Photoshop CC! Thanks for your patience :)
Happy birthday, World Wide Web! Here's the very first page ever, restored just for today :)
