Glamour photography can take on many styles. The simple ones, like yearbook photos and personal profiles, are the most common. Here, the main focus will be the eyes and the face as sparkling and fancy jewelry can be distractions. As well, lighting is adjusted according to the mood or theme you want to create; Reflectors, background materials and additional lighting paraphernalia is readily used; and, Location is also important. Go for simple locations like bright, empty rooms; or you can choose to shoot in a studio. The vast majority of my past clients were a dream to work with they were respectful of my time and my process. Nevertheless, I have noticed a slight upward trend from a few regarding the question of: Can you send me the RAW files? Not so long ago, most of the general public wasn't even aware of what a RAW file was. Now, thanks to Google, everyone knows what a RAW is, and people are beginning to request the originals presumably so that they can apply edits themselves. For... most photographers, (myself included), this is one of those requests that I cannot comply with because it risks my images (and name) being published to the internet looking completely different from my carefully crafted style. SO why would I refuse? Please note that the editing process is an essential part of my style and art. A RAW (unprocessed) photo is flatter, less saturated, and duller than what your iPhone or point-and-shoot camera gives you. That is because even your iPhone gives your images a quick edit for you, adding saturation and contrast. The RAW file contains all the raw data so that I can make these edits myself to create the look you see on my website and in the photos you will receive. RAW files are essentially an incomplete piece of work, which is why I cannot send them to you. Should there ever be something you're not satisfied with in a particular photo, do let me know and I will do my utmost to fix it.
